ACIL Allen Consulting was engaged by the ATO to identify the drivers of complexity in tax policy and law and how this complexity can be addressed. The project involved a detailed review of the literature, consultation with a broad range of stakeholders and the development of options aimed at reducing complexity in the nation's tax system.
